"Purple Cactus has provided a vital service to the Festival for four years. They have helped raised the profile of the Festival to the extent where it has been listed in the top 5 festivals in the UK by The Times. We couldn't be more grateful.” – Frome Festivall

LET US CALL YOU

Ian Moore

Ian MooreIan Moore- A thinly veiled contempt for all forms of physical exertion and an open adoration of all things Mod, Ian was recently voted by fellow comedians as ‘Man most likely to run amok with a firearm’. Fortunately this hasn’t stopped Ian Moore from achieving great success on the London and National circuits where he has spent the last two years supporting the likes of LEE EVANS, JACK DEE and MARK LAMARR.

Almost single-handedly leading the resurgence of all things mod, comedian Ian Moore has achieved great success on the London and National circuits and is a regular headliner at London’s famous Comedy Store.

Ian’s laconic observations on life, from the problems of using the wrong vocabulary in a German Pizza Hut to an almost pathological hatred of open-toed footwear, have proved hugely successful with live audiences.

In 2003 Ian Moore was one of only seven British comics selected to appear at the pinnacle of all comedy festivals – Montreal’s Just For Laugh’s. Alongside the likes of Jimmy Carr, Ian performed in the sell-out Britcom showcase proving to be such a success he subsequently went on to headline the Worldcom show at the festival’s finale.

Ian Moore is also a regular performer at London’s Comedy Store and has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe festival and headlined at The Reading and Leeds music festivals.
