His material, though varied from gig to gig, centres frequently on relationships and the time honoured question of the differences between men and women. An experienced stand-up comedian for more than a decade, Adam Ethan Crow has enjoyed a whole new lease of life in recent years, after first beating cancer and then surviving a heart attack that as well as making him glad to be alive, also helped him put things in perspective.

A truly varied comedian, who can flit from dark to light and back again over a whole host of subjects from the banal, inane and trivial to the deep, personal and political. As an actor Adam Ethan Crow appeared in such quality dramas as The Dream Team (Sky One), Casualty (BBC 1), Trust (ITV), The Leaflet (BBC2), The Bill (ITV), Lovejoy (BBC 1) and Pirate TV for Sky. He was even an unlikely relationship expert on Channel 4′s The Real Dating Show, offering pearls of wisdom to the sad, lonely and desperate of TV land. As a presenter, he co-hosted a pilot for Channel One called After Midnight and hosted a forum style interview with Griff Rhys Jones for Martin Cassini Productions. On radio, he was also the anchor for his own spoof Sunday show for BBC Radio .

Such aptitude and diversity has also kept Adam much in demand for TV warm-up work And here he has covered the whole spectrum of light entertainment – from fellow coffin dodgers on Open House with Gloria Hunniford, to the outlandish lager louts on Channel 5′s Night Fever. David Hadingham keeps audiences hooked right up to the last punchline as he presents his unique and often warped view of everyday life. This gravel-voiced comic combines supremely controlled delivery with inimitable facial contortions as he cracks some of the best handmade gags in the business.

David Hadingham (no middle name and only one ‘d’ in the surname) started in comedy in May ’93 after writing some material for a friend, only to discover that said friend had given up comedy after a spot at Up The Creek on a Sunday night. The said friend (who from now on in shall be known simply as friend) suggested that David perform his own “….damn material..”.

Absolutely amazed that this could be done without attending ‘Special Comedy School’, David Hadingham set out to do what had now become a pathetic life-long ambition. After a few short months he soon gained the reputation for being a complete pain in the arse by everybody in the comedy world. This is not unusual, however, so he managed to cling on to his open spots and eighteen months later he was in such demand that he had to write this publicity.

Common accusations have included: “You’re not on stage now!” and “Is that my pint you’re drinking?”. Ever sharp and witty, some of his off stage remarks will be forever funny, and I quote: “If great humour comes from tragedy then why am I not the funniest man alive?” and “Is that my hat?”.

Stage appearances include Joseph (Jesus’s Earth Dad as opposed to his ‘real’ one) in a school play in the 70′s.

TV appearances include David Hadingham as a member of the audience in that hilarious programme ‘Beadle About’ and as an onion in ‘Floyd on Fish’ (David tells us that Floyd wasn’t actually ‘on Fish’, he was actually ‘on Valium’).

David Hadingham has reached great heights in the comedy listings for example he used to be known as ‘new’, then ‘newish’ and now is called ‘comedian’.

David’s ambition is to see his name in print and spelt correctly (see above) and to be described in the comedy listings as an ‘amusing comedian’ or even ‘highly enjoyable’. Although The Guardian didn’t spell his name correctly they did call him a ‘ranting, raving comic genius’, so we can’t really argue with that.

Frankie’s first DVD, Frankie Boyle Live is officially the second fastest ever selling debut stand up release, selling just under 16,000 copies on its first day alone. The DVD was filmed on the final night of Frankie’s first national tour, Frankie Boyle Live, which was extended due to phenomenal demand with all 150 tour dates selling out.

In March 2010 Frankie hit the road again for a second national tour, entitled I Would Happily Punch Every One Of You In The Face. Extended due to overwhelming public demand – 52,000 tickets were sold on the first day they went on sale – the tour completely sold out and culminated with a string of arena dates. Once again the tour was recorded for DVD, this time filmed at the Hammersmith Apollo. Entitled If I Could Reach Out Through Your TV and Strangle You, I Would the DVD was released in mid- November and has proved to be every bit as popular as the Frankie’s first.

In November 2010 Frankie Boyle’s Tramadol Nights, his own stand-up and sketch show, aired on Channel 4 as a six part series and was one of the most talked about shows of the year. Other recent TV appearances include You Have Been Watching, Would I Lie to You? and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

Jim gets away with jokes that most comedians wouldn’t touch due to his ability to both charm and offend the crowd through equal measures.

In 2005 Jim wowed audiences at The Montreal ’Just for Laughs’ Festival where he was performing in the highly acclaimed Nasty Show.

Jim garnered one of the biggest press articles at the festival and was also moved above 2 of America’s cult comics as neither could follow his storming performances. In 2007 he was asked back to the festival this time to do a solo week, which sold out every night.

In 2006 Jim made his return to the Edinburgh Festival with his solo show titled The Second Coming which not only received rave reviews and numerous other press articles about his show, it sold out the whole run and he also managed to wind up Christian Voice as well. Hoorah!

Scott regularly plays almost every comedy club in the English speaking world, including the Punchline in San Francisco, the Comedy Store in London, the Comic Strip in New York City, and Yuk Yuks in Toronto, Canada. He’s been banned from Australia, because of a mishap with a person of diminutive stature, but that debt will be settled if Perth will wield its power as both a regional seat and a dominating cultural capital.

Background check: Scott admires Scotland so much he named the country after his great uncle, Randolph Scott. Sadly Randolph never stuck, so the locals, over their pints, characteristically chose the briefest and easiest way out.

Since then, in a faerie land where English is ne’er spoken, Scott has pushed his mother tongue, and, in 1994, he miraculously won the Perrier Award with his magical show Risk Gay, an installation/performance piece chronicling the power of wind, where Scott mimed a glittering chime.

His book, Fowl Play, a comedy novel about murder and date rape, received good reviews and it is out of print. Currently, he’s working on a second novel about the making of a Broadway musical, entitled Runt. And there’s a third novel, Loaded, based on his play about his correspondence with killer Erik Menendez, which the English press called ‘sick and dangerous’.

Wait, it gets better: He’s on all sorts of British television programs, most of which are too embarrassing to mention, although 8 Out of Ten Cats is a hit, even when he’s a guest. His stand up CD, some of which is included in this web site, was released in the UK, his second home, to enormous fanfare, and very limited sales. He did a play about gays. Currently he’s hosting a live chat show in London, letting his famous friends do all the work.

And he’s always touring, and being asked to tone it down in places like Manchester. Manchester for fuck sake, where clearly he’s not the problem. Still he perseveres, mainly out of a craving for attention and food.

Obviously, Scott is too busy to date. So he lives on friends’ couches. If you wanna call his a ‘life’. Or a lawn chair a ‘couch’.
