He was even an unlikely relationship expert on Channel 4′s The Real Dating Show, offering pearls of wisdom to the sad, lonely and desperate of TV land. As a presenter, he co-hosted a pilot for Channel One called After Midnight and hosted a forum style interview with Griff Rhys Jones for Martin Cassini Productions. On radio, he was also the anchor for his own spoof Sunday show for BBC Radio .

Addy van der Borgh is a great performer of highly acclaimed and original material, an ability noticed immediately by the BBC when he appeared on the ‘Stand-up Show’ on BBC1 after only one year as a comedian. He has subsequently appeared on ‘The World Stands Up’, ‘Jongleurs Live’ and ‘Live at the Comedy Store’ for Comedy Central, and the BBC3 series from Steve Coogan’s Baby Cow Productions, ‘Brain Candy’. He has also written and co-presented twenty episodes of ‘TV Meltdown’ for Sky 1 with Kirsty Gallacher  (2004 / 2005), has acted in a number of voiceovers for radio and television and has appeared on many radio shows including multiple appearances on the legendary ‘Loose Ends’ on Radio 4.

Addy was the only British comic invited to appear in the Twentieth Century Fox Comedy Showcase in Los Angeles and was subsequently signed to the Hollywood agents Paradigm, and he recently played the starring role of ‘Jack Watson’ in his first film, ‘Little Things’.

Since making the leap to Stand up comedy, Andre King has also secured roles as an actor in critically acclaimed NZ shows such as Eating Media Lunch, Shortland Street and two seasons of “The Pretender” which saw him nominated in the Qantas Film & Television awards 2009 for “Best Supporting Actor”.

That role as “Johnny Green – Campaign Manager” also secured  a New Zealand Comedy Guild Award for “Best Comedy Performance on NZ Television” 2005 and he won the award again in 2008 for Season Two of “The Pretender” against stiff competition from Dai Henwood, Cory Gonzales Macuer and Rhys Dharby.

Andre King is currently involved in the Victor Roger Play “The Village People” and is set to play the iconic Billy T James role of “The Tainuia Kid” in the musical stage version of “Came a Hot Friday” . He has also just finished working on Season one of the New Zealand version of “The Real Hustle” and has been approached about working on Season 3 of The Pretender in 2011.

Andre Vincent developed an interest in acting when, as a child, he took the part of the Artful Dodger in a locally produced Oliver. Trained as a clown, Vincent started traveling the world appearing at circus and theatre festivals as busker ‘Arry Pavarotti. Following his stand-up debut in Georgia and Alabama, Andre Vincent made appearance in other US states. The pinnacle of this period was opening for Bob Hope in Columbus, Ohio in 1992.

Thereafter, Andre Vincent returned home to the comedy circuit of the UK. Subsequent appearances have included a Saturday night show on Channel 4, nine sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, numerous radio shows, the presenter of two award-nominated television programmes, regular appearances on daytime panel games and even an appearance as himself in the children’s drama Byker Grove. Andre Vincent began to incorporate more material about himself into his comedy routine after his diagnosis with cancer and the removal of a 7 lb. tumor from his kidney in 2002, having in earlier shows received positive audience response from earlier references to his diabetes and a knee injury. He later incorporated the material into an award winning TV show for BBC, Hurrah for Cancer.

Vincent started working with Marcus Brigstocke in 2005 on the BBC Four show The Late Edition. The first live topical show on the BBC for many years. The pair took a live version of the show to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2006 and since then have performed “The Early Edition” at many of the leading UK festivals.

In 2007 Andre Vincent has launched a new show with fellow comic Phill Jupitus. In “Waiting For Alice”, the pair play Tweedledum and Tweedledee, sitting around and contemplating their wonderland and what may lie outside.

The Winter of 2009 found Andre Vincent re-treading the boards in the Pantomime “Robin Hood” at the Theatre Royal, Norwich. His first Panto in 26 years. In 2010 he can be seen in the movies Believe: The Eddie Izzard Story and The People Versus George Lucas.
