He’s entertained the troops in Kuwait, Bosnia,Kosovo, Cyprus and most recently Afghanistan. Also, he was the first British stand-up to perform in Moscow and the first performer to appear for The Comedy Store in Mumbai.

In 2010 on Radio 5 Live, he presented Christmas Up The Front, a documentary about performing comedy for the troops in Afghanistan.  Ian Stone was a regular guest on The Gabby Logan Programme and continues to appear on their flagship sports panel show Fighting Talk. During the World Cup, he was part of the team that presented six shows of The Armchair World Cup. The show was recently revived for a one-off Christmas special,Armchair Premier League. Ian Stone was part of the team on The Alan Davies Saturday Morning Show. He also guest presented Radio 5 Live’s topical sunday morning show The Back End of Next Week

On Radio 4, Ian Stone was a special guest on Shappi Talk and The Now Show and he has also appeared on Political Animal and twice on ’Four at the Store’.

On Radio 2 Ian Stone appeared in Hot Gossip, Claudia Winkleman’s top rated Radio Two panel show.  He also co-wrote and performed in a broadcast sitcom pilot, The Sharp End starring Alistair McGowan and Michelle Gomez.

He was the first guest on the Ian Wright Rock and Roll Football Show on Absolute Radio and has since become one of the regular contributors.

Performing regularly at all the major comedy clubs around the UK, so far this year Josh has also taken his distinctive brand of humour to Ireland, France, China and Thailand. He has also written and performed two solo shows for the Edinburgh Festival, before sell-out runs at the Soho Theatre; his hugely successful debut solo Fringe stand up show, entitled Chosen, which played to sell-out audiences and received rave reviews at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival, and returning in August 2010 with Josh Howie: Gran Slam, based on his time living with his grandmother. Singer, dancer, comedian, magician, actor and musician Sol Bernstein was born in Ukraine. Having been rated Best Triangle Player by Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington in the 1950s, he went on to perform across the globe at venues such as The London Palladium, New York’s Carnegie Hall, The Paris Olympia, Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and Scunthorpe Working Mens Club.
