Dave Johns has gained a reputation as an inventive, exciting and extremely funny comedian winning applause from his audiences, respect from his fellow comics, and rave reviews from the critics. He has had two very successful runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in two highly acclaimed shows ‘Dave Johns On The Edge’ in 1998 and ‘I’m in The Attic Mother’ in 1999 at the Pleasance Theatre for which he won the Spirit of the Fringe Award.

Johns has been invited to perform across the world from Glastonbury to Hong Kong, Leeds to Bangkok and performed sell-out shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in Australia 1998,1999 & 2001. July 2001 also saw Dave perform at the prestigious Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal.

Gavin Webster has been on the rise. He’s been on the rise for Eighteen years. After making his modest debut in a pub in Gateshead in February 1993 he’s done about three thousand gigs from Aberdeen to Abu Dhabi, Manchester to Melbourne and Hartlepool to Hong Kong.

On top of that, radio work too numerous to mention, several broadcast pilots, Gavin Webster provided the writing and was also one of the regular voices in both series of BBC1 TV programme A Walk On The Wild Side with Jason Manford in 2009 and 2010.

With a regular humorous column in Newcastle United fanzine The Mag, he plays in all the best comedy clubs in the country including The Comedy Store in Leicester Square London. Gavin Webster has also supported Jack Dee and Phill Jupitus on national tours.

Jason was first bitten by the comedic bug as part of the renowned Newcastle based sketch troupe known simply as Soup. He then went on to make a name for himself around the Tyneside area, most notably his time spent as a regular compere at The Hyena Club. There is no better place to hone comedic talent than in front of 300 baying punters, many of whom look capable of eating their own young.

Jason is also the writer of Die Clatterschenkfieternmaus and Malcolm and Mirriam. The 2005 Edinburgh show gaining a treasured 4 star review from the Scotsman.

In 2007, Jason took his first solo stand up show to the fringe, selling out for the bulk of the run, and earning 5 star reviews.  He then embarked on a sell out world tour and scooped the coveted “Best International Show” at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival, an award previously won by Eddie Izzard and Stephen K Amos.

In 2008 he returned with to the Fringe with “Joy”, earning MORE five star reviews and selling out the run to the point that extra shows had to be added to cope with demand. Another world tour of “Joy” sold out the New Zealand Comedy Festival and once again, we were forced to add extra shows to keep up with the sheer numbers of people wanting to see the show.

Jason was also invited to the Adelaide Fringe Festival where he hosted the entire season of the prestigious “Best of The Edinburgh Fest” showcase for the month.

2009 saw him return to the Fringe with “FEAR”, another show based on the trials and tribulations of his own life, the 5 star reviews rolled in once more and, once again, he was off around the world with further invites to the most prestigious comedy festivals on the planet. In 2010 he followed up with “The End – Part 1” to yet more critical acclaim.

Safe, though, also applies to his material, which never strays too far from well-worn paths and broad stereotypes. From time to time, he does surprise with a flash of originality – and his quickfire teasing often throws up a witty bon mot that wasn’t in his script.

But his strength is in attitude, rather than his writing, as he exudes that air of being in charge that’s guaranteed to set the right atmosphere for laughter. And that can often be harder than creating perfect material.

John became a regular at Newcastle’s Comedy Café and in 1993, his first year as a comedian, he had been lucky enough to appear with the likes of Jack Dee, Lee Evans and Jo Brand but in ’94 it had become obvious that if he wanted to go any further in showbiz he would have to do a Dick Whittington, pack up his spotted hanky and head off to the land of Eastenders and poor quality football.

John has slotted into the comedy circuit like a three pinned plug combining a unique style of embarrassing sexual revelations with a rural innocence. He has also toured the nation’s universities, done two tours of Ireland and performed in Hong Kong and regularly at the Edinburgh Festival. Lee Ridley AKA Lost Voice Guy may not be able to talk but he definitely has something to say and his comedy will leave you speechless.

Lee won Britain’s Got Talent in 2018 and the BBC New Comedy Award in 2014. Lee’s other credits include America’s Got Talent: The Champions(NBC), Live At The Apollo (BBC Two), The Royal Variety Performance (ITV),  I Just Called To Say… (Sky Arts), Comedy Central At The Comedy Store (Comedy Central UK) and two series of Ability (BBC Radio 4) which he co-wrote with Katherine Jakeways.

Lee went on a massive nationwide tour of the U.K in 2019, performing 103 shows and selling out venues up and down the country. He’s also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, Latitude, Comedy Central Live, Galway Comedy Festival, Brighton Fringe, Glasgow International Comedy Festival, Leicester Comedy Festival, Nottingham Comedy Festival and Liverpool Comedy Festival.

Lee’s first book, I’m Only In It For The Parking, was published in May 2019 by Transworld.

Lee has told jokes/given motivational speeches for a range of charities and organisations including Sainsbury’s, Barclays and The Royal College of Nurses. He is also an ambassador for Scope as well as being a patron of Smile For Life, Find A Voice, Communication Matters and The Sequal Trust.

Mickey’s career changed again when he was asked to do T.V “warm ups” and through this got the chance to appear on the other side of the camera hosting the live Sky T.V show SATURDAY NIGHT and interviewed guests as diverse as Grace Jones to Frank Carson. Mickey made his acting debut playing God in the comedy drama A STREET CAR NAMED KEVIN, and was snapped up by Jimmy Nail to play the villain Spud Tate in two series of the hit B.B.C drama SPENDER.

Then it started to get a bit weird. The BBC were looking for a presenter for their new flagship kids show HANGAR 17 and thought that Mickey would be the perfect host! After hosting Hangar 17 for three years Mickey wrote and appeared in shows as diverse as the comedy drama MUD, THE CHILDRENS ROYAL VARIETY SHOW, SOMETHING FOR THE WEEKEND and COMEDY RULES.

Mickey presented HEARTS OF GOLD with Esther Rantzen and Carol Smillie hosted his own quiz show THINK TANK for Channel Four and performed along side Jimmy Nail in the B.B.C 1 series CROCODILE SHOES, which of course, enabled him to appear in Panto. His “Wishy Washy” is regarded as one of the finest moments in theatre history.

Mickey has performed as a stand up comic in the Falklands, the Middle East, Hong Kong, Spain, Singapore, Beijing, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok, Tokyo, Cyprus and was the first comic to perform in Shanghai. He still regularly compères at JONGLEURS and THE COMEDY STORE.

Mickey hosted HIT FOR SIX on V.H.1, and played the part of “Les” in the Mercury theatre Colchester, production of John Godber’s award winning play BOUNCERS. He wrote a column in THE SUN for two years and regularly writes and guests on both T.V and radio comedy shows. He was in the BBC comedy drama MONARCH OF THE GLEN and appeared in BOB MARTIN with Michael Barrymore and with Tim Healy in the BBC comedy drama BREEZE BLOCK.

And to top it all the Geordie boy wrote BIG BROTHER’S, Nasty Nick’s book, has Just had his first novel, MASSIVE published and played the lead in the award winning TV movie KING OF THE ROAD. The Sunday Times Magazine even featured him in their Life In A Day Column. He still does guitar sessions and works with Grammy Award winning producer Steve Levine.

Geordie Stand-Up Ross has been performing since he was smuggled in to his local comedy club at the age of 15. Licensing laws meant that immediately after his slot he had to leave through the kitchen – but he has never looked back.
