Alan Davies is one of the UK’s best known actors and comedians.  Starring in the BBC hit series Jonathan Creek for an incredible 13 years, Alan became synonymous with the quirky, magic conjuring, crime-solving eponymous character.  The series returns to the small screen in 2013.

Aside from Jonathan Creek, Alan has enjoyed a hugely varied acting career to date with credits including playing the lead in Whites, Bob and Rose, and The Brief.  He has also had supporting roles in the teen film Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging, and in ITV’s detective series’ Lewis, and Hotel Babylon.

Now a mainstay of the long running comedy trivia quiz show QI, Alan is the much maligned team captain, alongside host Stephen Fry and a myriad of guest stars.  It’s tenth series was broadcast in the Autumn of 2012.

Performing stand up since the early ‘90’s, Alan won the Edinburgh Festival Critics Award in 1994 and went on to tour his show, Urban Trauma, in 1998.  After a brief hiatus from the stand up circuit, Alan returned to the stage in 2012 with his hit tour, Life is Pain.

Alan is available for corporate cabaret performances and awards hosting.

He is a frequent guest host and panellist on BBC’s HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU and is the presenter of the BBC Two game show POINTLESS. He also presented a documentary ALEXANDER ARMSTRONG’S VERY BRITISH HOLIDAY about the history of the great British summer. He is the voice of Mr Smith in BBC1′s SARAH JANE ADVENTURES.

In 2010 he featured in an episode of the BBC seriesWHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE where he discovered that he was a descendant of William the Conqueror. Alexander has also appeared in a number of films including JACKBOOTS ON WHITEHALL, SKELLIG, MATCHPOINT and CHURCHILL – THE HOLLYWOOD YEARS. Alexander is an accomplished comedian who is very much in demand as a guest speaker and awards host.

Bradley’s first job was an apprentice Jet engineer for Rolls-Royce Helicopter Engines, working with sheet metal. The company had their own football team, Bradley was a keen sportsman and played for a very, low county league team, Leavesden Hospital. It was then that he was spotted by a talent scout for Brentfod FC. On his first game for the club he scored the winning goal and was signed up for two seasons. An unfortunate injury ended his football career.

Bradley’s first steps into the world of entertainment started as a bluecoat for Pontins Middleton Tower holiday park resort near Morecambe, Lancashire.

Bradley became a household name playing the lovable rogue Danny Baldwin in the UK’s highest rating TV show, Coronation Street. Since leaving the street he has filmed an emotional three-part ITV drama entitled Torn, and has fulfilled one of his own ambitions: acting in Dickens costume drama Old Curiosity Shop alongside Sir Derek Jacobi. His current on screen persona is DS Ronnie Brooks from Law & Order: UK.

After his big break on his debut on The Royal Variety Show in 1993 he became a regular on Des O’Connor Tonight which in turn led to a series of sell out tours across the country as a stand up comedian. Bradley has also appeared as a guest on Parkinson and the Jonathan Ross Show.

As a presenter Bradley has hosted The National Lottery on BBC 1, The Chase and Odd One In on ITV, Big Stage on Channel 5, Shoot The Messenger on The Paramount Channel and Sports Addicts on Challenge TV.

He also had his own show on Capital Radio for two years, and hopes to return to radio when he has more time.

Bradley has the comedian’s gift for observing the ordinary and making it funny. He is equally at home at the alternative Comedy Store and as a crowd pleaser in family entertainment. He was nominated for Best Actor in the National TV Awards in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

After starring in BBC Two’s multi award winning comedy ‘The Thick of It’, for which he received a British Comedy Award nomination for Best Newcomer, Chris made his big screen debut in Academy Award nominated ‘In the Loop’, an exciting, fast paced political comedy that looks at what happens when the people in power realise their careers are on the line.

Over the years Chris has become even more recognisable on our screens having appeared on Live at the Apollo, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and regularly on QI and Mock the Week. He has also appeared frequently as a panellist, and as the host of Have I Got News For You.

Chris’s talent also extends behind the scenes, as he is an established writer who has written and starred in his own sitcom, Lab Rats, for BBC Two, and has written two books: Cautionary Tales for Grown-Ups and It Wasn’t Me. His further television writing credits include: Harry Hill’s TV Burp (ITV1) and TFI Friday (Channel 4).

Chris has enjoyed critical acclaim as one third of comedy show The Department (BBC Radio 4) and for his radio show The Ape That Got Lucky (BBC Radio 4), which won a Sony Radio Academy Award in 2006. Last year Chris hosted 7 Day Sunday on BBC Radio 5 live with fellow comedians Andy Zaltzman and Sarah Millican.

In 2010 he returned to Edinburgh with his self titled show, which subsequently toured the country.

In 2011 Chris hosted an episode of Dave’s One Night Stand and authored an episode of My Funniest Year for Channel 4. Chris recorded his series Show and Tell for E4 and in the autumn he returned to his role as a regular member of the Mock the Week panel. Chris released his first DVD ‘Chris Addison LIVE’ in Autumn 2011 before going on tour with his new live show The Time is Now, Again.

Dara Ó Briain is one of the UK and Ireland’s favourite stand-up comedians and television presenters. He is best known for hosting Mock The Week, Blockbusters, Robot Wars, Three Men in a Boat, Dara and Ed’s Great Big Adventure, Stargazing Live, Dara Ó Briain’s Science Club, and the documentary Dara Ó Briain Meets Stephen Hawking, all on BBC Television.

Dara started his career in television as a children’s presenter on RTÉ whilst performing his first stand-up gigs on the Irish comedy circuit, after studying at University College, Dublin, where he read Mathematical Physics.

Dara came to prominence in Ireland as host of topical panel show Don’t Feed the Gondolas. He had to leave the show midway through its fifth season in order to perform at the Adelaide and Melbourne comedy festivals.

Dara later co-founded the television production company Happy Endings Productions, whose most famous show in Ireland is The Panel. The show became one of the most talked about shows in Ireland and was twice nominated for the Best Entertainment Show IFTA (Irish Film and Television Award). His big break in UK television came in 2003 when he became host of BBC Two’s The Live Floor Show. This led to an appearance as guest – and, ultimately, four appearances as guest host of – the popular news quiz Have I Got News for You. By this time, he had moved to the UK and was working on the British circuit full-time.

Dara has hosted eighteen successful series of the comedy panel game Mock the Week for BBC television, and recently hosted BBC Two’s reboot of Robot Wars. He also hosted BBC Two’s The Apprentice: You’re Fired for three years.

Other notable television work sees Dara as an integral member of the Three Men in a Boat, alongside Griff Rhys Jones and Rory McGrath. In 2007 Dara fronted the BBC comedy interview programme Turn Back Time, and since 2011 has co-hosted BBC One’s astronomical show Stargazing Live alongside Professor Brian Cox.

Dara is also one of the most sought-after award show hosts in Britain, and regularly hosts the BAFTA Games Awards.

Dara tours regularly, and has performed shows all over world, from Moscow to Sydney, Tromsø to Malta, and has recorded five live DVDs for Universal Pictures. He also holds the record for the most appearances in a year for Dublin’s legendary Vicar Street. His previous shows include: Live at the Theatre Royal, Dara Ó Briain Talks Funny, This Is The Show, Craic Dealer, and Crowd Tickler.

Dara’s latest tour, Voice of Reason, has been performed across the globe, touring in the UK and Ireland, Scandinavia, mainland Europe, Australia and the Middle East. It was filmed by for the BBC in 2020 for a live stand up special that was broadcast on New Year’s Day.

Dara released the bestselling book Tickling The English in 2009, and more recently his non-fiction children’s book about space, Beyond The Sky, was nominated for Best Book with Facts at the 2018 Blue Peter Book Awards. In 2010, Greg’s debut solo stand up show Firing Cheeseballs At A Dog delighted audiences at the Edinburgh Festival with tales of his childhood and the tribulations of his former teaching career. The show was nominated for the prestigious Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award which led to a thrice extended sell-out national tour. The DVD of the show was released in November 2011 and was a Top 10 bestseller.

Star of Mock The Week

Hugh Dennis (born Peter Dennis in 1962) is a British actor, comedian, voice-over artist and writer. He is best known as a comedian, especially with comedy partner Steve Punt.
Hugh Dennis began his performing career in 1985, as one half of double act “Punt and Dennis”. Most recently Hugh and Steve Punt have toured their live show “STUFF AND NONSENSE” around the UK. Hugh gained his degree from St John’s College, Cambridge University.

A skilled impressionist, Dennis did voices for Spitting Image and appeared with Punt as resident support comics on two TV series hosted on the BBC by Jasper Carrott.

The pair then formed half of The Mary Whitehouse Experience on BBC Radio 1, later graduating to a television series. His radio work with Punt includes over a decade of performing Punt and Dennis, It’s Been a Bad Week and The Now Show and a current run of writing The Party Line (a topical political satire that is written and performed the day prior to transmission). On The Now Show he is in a line up including Punt, Mitch Benn, Laura Shavin, Jon Holmes and Marcus Brigstocke.

Dennis has performed on various TV and radio shows, including The Imaginatively Titled Punt and Dennis Show and sitcom Me, You and Him. He has guest hosted Have I Got News For You and plays obnoxious GP Piers Crispin in BBC sitcom My Hero. He is friends with Chris Morris and has had cameos on Brass Eye. He is in huge demand as a voiceover artist and he currently appears on the panel game Mock the Week, in which he frequently refers to Showaddywaddy and car insurance.

Dennis also cycled the mountain stage of the 2007 Tour de France, a fact that he discussed on the fifth series of Mock the Week.

In August 2007 Dennis starred in the BBC comedy Outnumbered, a semi-improvised sitcom based around family life. Hugh stars in BBC 2′s hit topical panel show ‘Mock the Week’, he is also currently both writing and presenting Radio 4′s award winning comedy ‘ The Now Show’ (currently in its 27th series).

Ian graduated from Oxford with a degree in English literature. Due to Private Eye popularity and as Britain’s best-selling current affairs magazine, many of the recurring in-jokes have entered popular culture. Ian has made countless television and radio appearances, as panelist, essayist and presenter.

As a writer, Ian progressed from Spitting Image to write sketches for Harry Enfield and television plays for Maureen Lipman and Dawn French. Most recently he co-wrote the family sitcom, My Dad’s the Prime Minister.

At just twenty-one years old, Jack Whitehall has made a remarkable impact upon the comedy world. In August 2009, he was nominated for the Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards for his debut solo Fringe show, Jack Whitehall: Nearly Rebellious. The show received rave reviews and completely sold out, with an extra date added due to public demand.

With a host of competition titles and an array of live appearances under his belt, this so-called ‘newcomer’ recently co-wrote and hosted TNT Show on Channel 4.
