Alfie Moore the Stand-Up Police Sergeant.

He is a natural raconteur and delivers a wealth of insights and comedy moments from his eighteen years on the beat, where dealing with everyday incidents has generated a host of humorous stories that you ‘just couldn’t make up’.

He has three times written and performed his own one-man show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, mostly recently with his critically acclaimed ‘I PREDICTED A RIOT’ which Alfie took to Edinburgh after touring the show nationally. He has also supported Rhod Gilbert, Sarah Millican, Russell Kane and Milton Jones on their national comedy tours.

From the ‘Steel City’ (Sheffield) Alfie Moore has a humble background, born and raised on a council estate. After his careers in engineering and in the police force, Alfie came later than avergage into comedy bringing with him a wealth of insights. Drawing from his experience as a police man, bringing to life his hilarious observations whilst dealing with everyday situations.

Alfie Moore is also a versatile and distinctively humorous after dinner speaker, presenter and comedy writer with his niche area as a serving police sergeant.

In 2011 Alfie was one of the stars of ITV1′s Show Me The Funny and wrote and presented ‘Alfie Moore’s Almanac’ for BBC Radio. Most recently he has been featured in BBC3′s Bizarre Crime and is currently writing a pilot for BBC Radio 4.
