Romesh Ranganthan

The last few years have been incredible for Romesh, with two series of his BAFTA and RTS Nominated series Asian Provocateur, his BBC Two series The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan, his own Sky One sitcom The Reluctant Landlord, and travelling the globe with Rob Beckett in Rob & Romesh Vs – all receiving critical acclaim and making him a household name. Last year also saw Romesh become the new regular on A League of Their Own, take on a new role as Judge Romesh for Dave, and even managed to squeeze in writing his autobiography Straight Outta Crawley: The Memoirs of a Distinctly Average Human Being, which became a Sunday Times Bestseller.

Last year also saw Romesh embark on his career in America with the launch of his own series Just Another Immigrant on Showtime, which received critical acclaim selling across the globe, and is currently airing on Sky One in the UK. His time in America saw him appear twice on James Corden’s Late Late Show and debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

2019 has been another busy year for Romesh with the second series of Misadventures, the second series of his sitcom, and the launch of his brand new show Ranganation for BBC Two. He has also embarked on his biggest tour to date – The Cynic’s Mixtape – which is selling out across the country, including eight shows at Hammersmith Apollo.

He also manages to squeeze in time to record his critically acclaimed podcast Hip Hop Saved My Life, which has welcomed everyone from Kano to Louis Theroux, Mark Ronson, Clara Amfo, Little Simz and Jamie Redknapp.

It’s non-stop for one of the hardest working comedians in the game!
